Gordon A. Gordon Jnr. was born December 1st 1979 in Ikeja Lagos, Nigeria, the first of five siblings, and two covenant brothers. His parents are Apostles Gordon of blessed memory & Eunice (Founders and Visionaries of Spirit & Life Bible Church and Godhead Prayer Ministry Worldwide) with headquarters in Nigeria. He attended Lydia Primary School, and went on to Igbinedion Secondary School both in Edo State Nigeria; there he completed his high school education graduating in 1997.
In 1998 Gordon decided to further his studies in the USA going on to attend Phoenix Community College in Arizona. He was then transferred to Arizona State University (ASU)completing his studies in Global Business Management and International Relations graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree. In the interim Gordon was also attending AZUSA World Ministry Training Institute (MTI) also in Arizona, a bible teaching school for 3 years studying to know more about Ministry and God’s word.
While in his 3rd year in MTI Gordon says “the word of the Lord came to me saying He God brought him here and separated me unto Himself, for He has called him to be a teacher of His word to His people bringing a clear understanding of His word.” Gordon has become an ardent teacher of God’s word as many have received Christ in to their lives on account of his teaching of God’s word. He graduated from MTI receiving a Certificate in Practical Theology both were accomplished attending ASU full time during the day and MTI full time at night as he always says “it was all by God’s grace.” He immediately began working on his Masters degree in Theology.
In 2005 Gordon married Martha Tovar, a dynamic vessel of God who is called in the ministry of praise and worship. In 2006 he was ordained Bishop of Spirit & Life Bible Church and is also the Facilitator of Godhead Prayer Ministry with chapters and membership all over the globe. On May 14th 2009 God gave them their first child of covenant Gabriel Osase Gordon. He is blessed with two sons.
Today Bishop Gordon has completed his Masters in Theology and received a Masters in Church Organisation & Management from Friends International Christian University. He is also a teacher in MTI for this as he says “is his way of giving some of his time to the school God used to change his life.”
Bishop Gordon credits who he is today to three people God used to shape his life:
- His father Bishop Gordon Osagiede Sr. (of blessed memory) for his obedience to God which today has made him a partaker of God’s grace and a son to a godly father that trained his first seed well.
- His mother, Apostle (Mrs.) Eunice Gordon for her passion, generous heart and tireless service to God.
- Apostle (Dr.) Alfred Craig (AZUSA World Ministry) his Spiritual father and co-mentor for his love for God’s people and gifting to teach God’s word.
Bishop Gordon currently oversees the chapters of the church and ministry abroad and continues to be of great service to the kingdom of God, for he is looking forward to hearing God’s voice declare to him when it’s all said and done “Well Done Good and Faithful Servant.”
Martha Gordon Osagiede
Martha Gordon Osagiede is a Worship Minister, Gospel teacher, and the wife to the Presiding Bishop of Spirit and Life Family Bible Church worldwide, Bishop Ada Gordon-Osagiede Jr. She is the convener of the “Lady of Love Initiative”, an advocate for healthy family life, teaching the culture of Jesus Love to women and has become a role model for women of all ages.
When you ask Pastor Martha to describe herself, she would always say that she is firstly, the mother of three lovely and adorable children; Gabriel, Ruben and Vicky.
But before she was a mother- or wife, Pastor, worship minister or gospel teacher – she was Alejandro and Micaela Tovar’s little daughter. Born in Los Angeles, California, USA. She gave her life to Jesus at age 15. She served in both the youth and music ministries, as the youth secretary and music leader at separate times. God promoted her to greater things at age 18, when she had her first job as a bilingual worship leader at AZUSA World Ministries, PHOENIX Arizona.
At age 19, she recorded her first album in Spanish, titled “A Media Cielo” which brings to mind the need for all people to prepare for the second coming of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
She became a graduate of Azusa World Ministry Training Institute at age 22, with a Bachelors in Biblical Studies. After graduation, she joined the institute and worked as the Coordinator of AZUSA MTI Spanish for 3 years, preparing curriculum, schedules, translating and teaching. Where she later met Bishop Ada Gordon-Osagiede Jr, the man who would become the love of her life.
In 2005, she got married to him, and began her journey into motherhood. She released her second album titled “The Fulness of Time” in 2007, but this time in English and Spanish.
Pastor Martha joined her husband in founding a unique interdenominational marriage fellowship called “Excellent Couples”. Where they teach married couples to be anchored on God’s love and help singles foster godly and healthy relationships towards marriage. They believe “You CAN be Married and Happy for Real”, a fact evident in her own marriage union with Bishop Gordon Jr.
Pastor Martha has been in full time Ministry since age 18, with increasing passion to teach God’s word to children, young people, and especially ladies of all ages. She is fully devoted to God and finds fulfilment when used by Him in her area of call, either as a Pastor, worship leader or gospel Teacher. She continues to support and inspire people.
